One of the most exciting events every year at ShAFF. Niall Grimes will kick off the evening with his memorable quiz about all things adventurous, before Alex Ekins will take over to present the finalists in the 2012 Arc'teryx Adventure Shot Photography Competition. More details here.

One wild card entry chosen by the ShAFF judges gets the chance to go head to head with four of the best professional adventure photographers selected by documentary outdoor, adventure photographer Alex Ekins and photographer, Climb magazine editor and climber Ian Parnell in this competition that’s like no other.

Following the quiz will be a "shoot out" - with the five adventure sports photographers vying for cash and a heap of Arc'teryx kit.  Each will have 5 minutes in which to showcase their photographs to the audience who will rate their approval vocally.   

This year's wild card is highliner, photographe and magazine contributor Jordan Tybon

The four invited photographers are:
Cheryl King - Speciality: Biking
Gavin Newman - Speciality: Caving
Lukasz Warzecha - Speciality: Climbing
Andy Day - Speciality: Parkour
