In a departure from his normal subject matter of kayaking, director Skip Armstrong focuses on the dramatic story of Hawaiian born surfer Christopher Peterson. Returning to landlocked Idaho to help look after his grandmother Chris finds his life in free fall after in an unexpected tragedy. 6 years on from leaving his island ocean, Chris discovers river surfing and starts to heal the wounds of his past.
