White Noise

Snowboarding's made my life amazing but many times it's come so close to taking it away from me.  Xavier de la Rue fights the demons battling with the voices whispering this could be his last ride before suffocating in an avalanche or falling into a crevasse.  With a 6 year old daughter should he settle for a normal life when snowboarding's his reason to live?

Adventure enthusiast and film-maker Dan Habershon Butcher previewed his pick of our Ski/Board films.  "If you don’t know the name Xavier de la Rue, you should – you’ve been missing out on his incredible snow-boarding skills for around 20 years. He’s a pro level rider, has been on the Freeride World Tour for years and generally kicks ass on the mountain. This is a neatly crafted short film… it’s been beautifully shot, it’s super stylish without over the top editing trickery that some pieces use a little too much for my liking these days – incredible places shown with wonderful style."
