The risk versus reward inherent in adventure sports is one of the dominant themes of many films screening at ShAFF this year. Many athletes often risk injury and sometimes even their lives. The flipside is fulfiling their passion, living life doing what they love. The films listed below all feature this theme or feature athletes recovering from accidents or who have a disability.
