From Beginner to Brazil
In preparation for a journey along the Brazilian coastline for the twelfth leg of his Expedition1000 project, Dave Cornthwaite travelled to Zanzibar to learn how to kitesurf.
Dave's Expedition1000 project involves 25 journeys of 1000 miles or more, each one using a different form of non-motorised transport. So far he has completed 10 of them (he has completed 2 more since this film was created), including skateboarding across Australia, stand up paddleboarding the Mississippi and swimming the Lower Missouri.
