We're proud to present the premiere of Andy Kirkpatrick's latest film as part of the Risky Play session at 16.30 on Sunday 22 March.

Andy Kirkpatrick, one of the UK's leading climbers, takes his kids in the depth of the Norwegian winter, to follow in the footsteps of the wartime heroes of Telemark. These Norwegian resistance fighters skied over the seemingly impenetrable Norwegian mountains to thwart the Nazi Atomic weapons programme, and have become a byword for bravery.

Andy is inspired by their achievements, and wants some of that tough, can do spirit to be part of his kids - 16 year old Ella, and 13 year old Ewen's - upbringing. He also believes in general terms that exposing children to risk is part of a responsible and balanced patenting plan. So, he takes them to Norway to do a 4 day wild ski adventure in challenging conditions. As they head into driving storms with just a tent, has the KirkPatrick family bitten off more than they can chew?
