Lowepro Photo Exhibition

The ShAFF Lowepro 2015 Adventure Photo Exhibition - curated by Dave Mycroft at MyOutdoors.co.uk - runs from 18th to 27th March in the Workstation and features some of the world’s leading adventure photographers. This year sees the return of Dan Arkle and Nadir Khan to ShAFF along with a special exhibition of “Women in Adventure” photography on the mezzanine Floor.
Dan Arkle
Dan Arkle hit the headlines in 2012 with his stunning time-lapse climbing images and is based in Sheffield. Dan's photography is driven by three things, Nature, Climbing and Pushing Photographic Boundaries. Although based and predominantly working in the Peak District Dan has also worked in The Alps. Since featuring at ShAFF in 2014 Dan Arkle has gone on to produce an impressive series of very high resolution images of Stanage and Clogwyn d’ur Arddu as ZoomTopos.

Nadir Khan
Described as "one of the rising stars of UK climbing and action photography" in 2013 Nadir Khan has become one of the most recognised names in the industry with a stunning portfolio of images covering Climbing, Snowsports, Kitesports, Kayaking, Mountain Biking and Trail Running. Not content with covering such a range of adventure sports he also boasts a collection of landscape images from around the world.

Henry Iddon
Henry Iddon has over 18 years experience as a professional photographer supplying location photography of action, architecture, documentary and modern lifestyles. Always finding the aesthetic in the everyday. Working to a tight creative brief or within uncontrollable 'live' situations and street casting, his aim is to produce images that not only sit within the discourse that is contemporary art and culture but also compliment the very best in commercial print and digital media. Clients include UK government departments as well as commercial, non-profit and news organisations worldwide.
Arial Body
Aerial is technically based in the USA these days buts spends much of her time travelling the world taking photographs. From the Alps to the Atacama Desert to Australia Aerial has been photographing Women in Adventure skiing, climbing and having fun all over the planet.

Duncan Stafford
Duncan Stafford is a freelance photographer based in Sheffield, and as a freelancer has the freedom to focus on the areas that are of particular personal interest. In Duncan’s case those areas are Music, Street, Sport and People. With work published in many magazines, including Rolling Stone, and exhibitions of his work in the UK and USA Duncan will be presenting exhibition pieces for ShAFF which reflect adventure sports that take place in and around the Sheffield area, with a focus on women who participate in the sports.
