Second Hand Kit Sale

Like a car boot sale, but based on what can be fitted into a rucksack...
 

The kit sale rules are simple:

• Bring your spare and no-longer used kit along to the Workstation during the festival along with a price list.
• The sale of outdoor kit will take place throughout the weekend (11am to 8pm Saturday & Sunday 21 & 22 March).
• Leave the rest to our team of volunteers while you enjoy a few films.
• The kit sale team will deal with tagging, pricing and displaying all the items and your money will be waiting either at the end of the day or the end of the festival - whichever suits you best.
• The kit sale takes 20% to cover all the costs and you get to enjoy the festival.
• This year we will be able to accept credit card and PayPal payments.
• Sellers will be paid in cash where possible from 6pm on 22nd March but should also provide bank transfer/paypal details for amounts exceeding the cash available. Transfers will be made on 23rd March.

ShAFF Kit Sale 2015 to support Gift Your Gear

This year's ShAFF Kit Sale, organised by MyOutdoors, is to support the Gift Your Gear initiative again in 2015 with a donation point and an option for sellers to donate unsold items at the end of the festival. The ShAFF Kit Sale has been a popular part of the weekend festival, offering individuals an opportunity to sell on their no-longer used kit while taking in some of the best adventure films of the past 12 months. Following the move into the Workstation in 2013 the kit sale has grown into one of the largest sales of its kind in the UK.

This year in support of Gift Your Gear sellers are also being asked if they would like to donate any unsold kit to the cause and support community organisations, youth groups and charities working with young people in the outdoors. In addition there will be a donation point in the main kit sale area where you can leave no-longer needed kit for fowarding to GYG.

Along with the hundreds of outdoor bargains up for sale the ShAFF Kit Sale also brings a chance to buy some unique items ranging from signed posters to equipment from award winning films.  The Kit Sale takes place on the Mezzanine Level of the Workstation alongside the ShAFF Lowepro Photo Exhibition from 21st - 22nd March.
