Ricky Lightfoot is a professional trail and mountain runner and is a member of the Salomon Trail Team. The 29 year old fireman lives in Maryport on the West Coast of Cumbria. He describes his strengths as being very versatile on all surfaces from ultra trail to road and says he is probably best on medium to long fell races.
Ricky will be on stage in conversation with Trail Running Magazine editor Claire Maxted - there will also be the chance for the audience to ask Ricky questions about his training regime, nutrition, and experience of racing and recovering from injury.
We will also be screening Salomon Running's latest film, the gorgeous 'Of Hills And Fells' - starring Ricky Lightfoot and Rickey Gates as well as the legendary Joss Naylor.
