Ed Hamer

Ed moved to the Peaks for the climbing in 2010, the year he became British Junior and Senior Lead Climbing Champion. Sheffield Walls for training and the Peaks for outdoor climbing are legendary, world class, climbing venues.

Ed Hamer is one of UK’s best up and coming athletes in climbing. He was born in Zimbabwe where he lived until he was 9, then moved to the UK. He began climbing in 2004 and has been making incredible progress since. He’s at home in all disciplines, having sent boulders graded 8B, trad routes graded E8 and sport climbing routes in the 8c range.
