I originally came to Sheffield as a hockey player who did a bit of road running for fitness. Having done several marathons and half marathons, I soon discovered the real fun is in the off road running. With The Peak District on your door step and an abundance of local fell races on offer we really are spoilt. The Peaks offer such a friendly running scene, weather it's a short fell race of a summers evening or a full weekends worth of running in an ultra marathon!
