First I would like to say congratulations for another fantastic SHAFF Festival! We have been attending many of the events on the last years and we love it! It is very inspirational for us too! :). Jenny Naranjo, Social Secretary for Sheffield Walking Group
Just to say I made it to the running films 2 and the Nikki Kimball talk - both so inspiring and enlightening! So thanks for all your efforts in putting them on. I wouldn't know where to look otherwise. Becky Lyne, ex international 800m runner
I wanted to thank you on behalf of all of the HPM volunteers, everyone I've spoken to really enjoyed the oppportunity to see a film at SHAFF, and have been really happy that someone was so impressed by them checkpointing that they were offered free tickets. This the second year I've been to SHAFF and I've watched great films both years, so I also wanted to congratulate you and your team on putting together another great event. Calum Harvey, organiser of the High Peak Marathon
What an amazing weekend! Thank you for everything!
Just want to send over some appreciation for SHAFF this weekend, had an excellent time and the films were great.
This one was even better than the last, with a great idea of the workstation as an exhibition area, make even more of that next year !
I just wanted to register my complete enthusiasm for the festival.....it was the first time i have attended and i really very enjoyed the Bike Film 3 and Awards and best of Shaff... just looking at the wide variety of films, dates and various events was mind boggling!!! Congratulations and very well done to you and all the team.....great to put Sheffield on the map and having seen as you said last night how much its grown in the last few years its upwards and onwards!
Fantastic festival, definitely the best one yet, well done everyone
My first visit to ShAFF certainly won’t be my last. The huge variety of films really does offer something for everyone, and the featured speakers and exhibiting photographers are exceptional in their respective fields. The vibe is laid back and friendly, plus it’s a great opportunity to network with others working in the field of outdoor media. Thanks to Heason Events, Patagonia, the Showroom Cinema and everyone else involved in putting on this first class event. Tony O'Donnell, The Outdoor Times

And check out what else people said about the festival over the past few years:
Luke Meadows: "This was my first time at SHAFF and I loved it. I’ve been to a fair few adventure film festivals now and I have to say that SHAFF beats those others hands down on the consistently high professionality and production values of the films, the laid back vibe and real local / grass roots emphasis. I watched a far more diverse range of films than I have ever done before at an adventure film festival – this alone speaks volumes for the way the festival is curated and run. Congrats to Matt Heason – the man behind the festival and Heason Events – and everyone involved. If you’re in the UK next year you definitely have to go. I’ll see you there!"
Rory O'Curry (on winning a Patagonia jacket after completing his survey form): "I am so delighted. That is fantastic news. I can't believe it. I had such a great time at Shaff. Will definitely spread the word. Thanks to Patagonia and Shaff!"
Tony Burgess: "Was on nights all weekend, so could only manage Bike 1 on Saturday and Climbing 1 on Sunday. Both left me feeling inspired, especially 'The Long Hope Route, and I am a biker not a climber. Big pat on the back from me, good times."
Shane from the USA: "What an amazing film festival!"
Sebastian Harper: "This was my 3rd year at ShAFF and it doesn't fail to impress me. I am a keen mountaineer myself and watching this is like a breath of fresh air. I don't want to see Harry Potter or Twilight at the cinema, I want to see adventurous films! ShAFF is one of the only places where I can see adventurous films. I can't wait until 2013!"

ShAFF was excellent this year. Cheers Guys.
I went to the film festival last weekend and loved it! keep doing more.
Thanks for organising SHAFF too - the John Arran talk and film were great.
Congratulations on SHAFF, we had a great time on saturday night and the buzz was great- seems such a shame that there is such a huge outdoor community in Sheffield and so few occasions for us to get together, thanks for organising so much of what does happen!
Thanks Matt for showing the biking film yesterday ,it was a just what i and the festival have wanted ,do try and source more of the similar if possible.
